The room was so loud that I couldnt even talk to anyone at our table. We all laughed about how bad it was.
Dont try so hard.... this place would be ok if I was wasted and 18.

A nice quaint sushi place close to the beach. The best sushi is Kits is still TENMAKI on broadway off Arbutus, but this place is a block from me so sometimes I just stroll down for a an Uni and cold Kirin fix, Like I said solid Uni quality ( sea urchin for the california roll only types) usually means the rest of the fish is uber fresh as it is the easiest to spoil. Have had three good snacks there.
I been coming here since I was 1.
Go and eat the following and you be in heaven
1- Rolls Dip
2-Imperial Prawns
3-Beef Pho
4-Lamb ( i know but trust me)
5-Lobster ( get off your wallet and you will not be sorry,, drunken with garlic and unreal)

I have been forced to go to this place 3 times by group decision. We ordered 12 different items and every single one was terrible. From a completey oversauced beef carpaccio ( how do screw taht up) to the most disappointing sablefish in all of Canada the food was sooooo bad. I am not kidding. Even my friend who doesnt eat fish settled on the karage chicken and couldnt eat it it was so bad. Oh wait I just got a text from my buddy who says that he cant get off the toliet and my girlfriend has an upset stomach too.
I can on and on about how bad this place is...bottom line is dont go and dont let anyone you know go. Friends dont let friends eat at Hapa Izakaya.
