We love to eat. Today, i had two korean restaurants for today- in my lunch and my late dinner. My husband and I went to this place and it was very good. Very good food, very good price, and not bad for their service =) The ambiance is cozy and relaxing.
If you want to have Korean barbeque, check it out. I highly recommend this one =)
We'll surely go back there soon.
We went there last night, Father's Day, and it was horrible dinner =( I saw a hair on our marinated beef and another one of our bowl. It was terrible!!! I want to get out but oh well, i don't want to spoil my husband night. Instead, i talked to the waitress about the "hair" thing and she said "so, you don't want this?". Absurd!!!! Definetely, i don't want this! In my mind, " are you nuts???!!!" , but she said, i can replace. She didn't =( We waited, until we're tired for the replacement and we asked another order form.
I say, it was pricey for $23 for the same menu on happy hour/late dinner on mostly japanese restaurants in Granville and Metrotown. C'mon, the customers deserve more food than that. For dessert, jello only??!!! Coffee jello??? That's cheap =<
Poor service and unhealthy food (because of the hair). I will not go back on Shabusen Burrard anymore.
My family went here last night for my daughters'(yeah they are twins)18th birthday. We loved the food!!! We had prawn, chicken (tandori & butter chicken, beef, paneer, paroka, many salad, and the sweets....ahhh, love that! The naan is not too bad(i had better in Main St.,Vancouver). I'm not familiar the name of food but i know; butter chicken, beef curry, chicken tandori, chicken tikka masala, spinach & cheese(paneer),rice basmati, samosa, gulab jamun. I had them all last night...and more =)
