I first ate here 25 or more years ago,and for the last 15 years I was away from Vancouver area. With all the changes it was great
to see Fresgo"s is still the same. The food is still the same large
servings, great prices, and even the decor is unchanged for decades. This gives the place a worn out grubby appearance but that is part of the tradition there. Their food is good,(awesome
musroom burgers) and the prices make for tremendous value. If
you want food go to Fresgoes. If you want fluff go somewhere else

This outlet has a pleasant decor and feeling about it. The staff is good however I will not eat here again except for breakfast. Since the chain has adopted the "Chef -Inspired " and "Fresh Thinking-
Fresh Cooking" advertising campaigns they seem to have completely abandoned any attempt to maintain the quality of their
traditional food, Of my last two visits,on the first one I ordered the bigger burger platter and though it arrived very quickly it was
overcooked, dried out and lukewarm. A sure sign of being pre-cooked. On my last visit the burger was not overcooked, just cold
and soggy.Where is the old legendary quality?

This restaurant has been consistant at serving cold poorly prepared hamburgers on my last four visits. This definately was not due to the waitress being unatentive, in fact one of the waitresses was the best I have encountered anywhere. The last time they were using a food runner that was doing an fabulous job of keeping the pass clear.The food was clearly pre-cooked and served by the kitchen staff this way. I have eaten at this chain for decades and cannot believe they are letting standards fall so low.

This couple are doing things right. It is just a small personal place
to eat good freshly prepared food at prices everyone can afford.
This is the kind of place Gordon Ramsay tries to inspire small
restaurant owners to become. It is now on my regular beat.
