The meal deal offered here seemed attractive coming in. Everyone who chose the minestrone soup enjoyed their bowl. I had the salad, which was okay, featuring small pieces of lettuce mix identical to the kind I sometimes use in sandwiches. Their seafood fettucine alfredo was disappointing, showing up with nearly invisible shrimp and scallops.. the saving grace was the spinach pasta. Other pasta dishes were reported to not contain enough flavour. Come if you are craving sourdough bread.
When we eat out we often order calamari, a favorite of my SO, and apparently Apollonia makes one of the best. I don't disagree: it has a light crispness very deliciously complimented by the optional tang. Fresh bread and butter are complimentary. Their rack of lamb or steak dinners, which come with generous portions of rice and greek salad, are prime examples of juicy and savory grilled meat. Seating further in offers a warmer ambiance (candles included) than the window spots that face deserted lots. Staff are attentive. Would return.
