Great Food, Great Service.

I've been coming to Wendel's in Fort Langley for years now, and It's one of my favorite spots. Some of these reviews just don't do the place justice. Everything is made in the building. I know they have a full bakery. I've seen the recipe books...(although I don't think I was supposed to be allowed to see it...I had a friend that worked there..haha) and the stuff genuinely looks pretty healthy, and homemade, for sure. I actually had the Salmon Bagel earlier today, and they've started toasting it now...I like that. It tastes great. The Butter Chicken is a classic. I'd never actually tried it until earlier this year, when my daughter suggested I do. It was amazing. They have an amazing cook, who I see almost every time I'm there... who has an East Indian culinary background, who helps make up all the specials daily. When I go for breakfast early in the morning, she often runs my food out to me personally, and I chat with her about the lunch specials. If you're ever in, and they have the Chickpea and Rice on special...be sure to try it. Healthy, and delicious. If you walk in, and see a line, don't worry. The staff are very capable of serving everyone very quickly, and efficiently. Quick, Polite, No Nonsense. ( You'd know this If you've ever been in Fort Langley during the Cranberry festival..)

An overall, great place!
