Ok, it is one of the best (or maybe the best) cake places in Vancouver. Their cakes look nice, and also taste fantastic. The prices are higher than other places. You should expect to pay around 40 for an 8" cake. But in my opinion, especially for cakes it is better to go with quality than quantity!
They have couple of chairs and a sofa in the store, so you can try cakes with coffee
This place have a wide selection of cakes and also offers coffee and other drinks beside them. The quality of cakes is nothing special and it is little bit better than safeway cakes. The portions are pretty large but you should pay more than 8 ~ 9 dollar for a large portion which is too much in my opinion considering the quality. The drinks are also expensive. Expect to pay around 3 for fresh coffee and more than 4 for espresso/latte.
I've been here only once. The food is mediocre nothing special. It is not really on par with cactus club and earls but might be better than Whitespot. And I think compared to other Milestones (I've been to Yaletown) it is not as clean and fancy. The main advantage of this restaurant is it's water view. The patio have heaters so you can enjoy the view from outside as well.
I went to this place many times. Despite being in the burnaby I think the food worth the travel time. You should also expect to stand in the line for between 10~30 minutes.
From the quality point of view, I can say that the food is very very delicious. But I agree with some reviews that it is somewhat greasy or there is not alot of meet etc. I like Penne Antonio and Fusilli Alla Toscana. Their baked dishes are also worth trying.
I went here for dinner after I found this as the most reviewed restaurant in the dinehere! We ordered mussels and they were great. The service was great and the waitress was very friendly. They also have a nice selection of belgian beer. The beer is kind of overpriced but it might worth it if you want to try some new beers.
So this is a good persian restaurant in the North Vancouver. The food ranks high between persian restaurants. But it is famous for it's horrible service and aggressive owner. Just try not to mess with the owner as she gets angry and might shout at you. It is funny that they wrote on the table: Please not steal the calendars, please not throw coins in the water and these kind of crap. As far as I remember there is a mandatory 15% tip and be aware ! they might charge you more than what it supposed to be ! So make sure to check your bill and calculate it yourself !
This is a coffeeshop and art gallery. While the coffeeshop looks small from the outside, you can seat upstairs in the gallery surrounded by great paintings. The owners are friendly and their service is great. The prices are reasonable and they quality is good. The only downside is that they close early. One of the best coffeeshops in the town ...
I went here once. The omelets are very tasty and the quality of food and ingredients are high. The service was very good and everything was very clean. I also like the ambiance of the place. The only drawback was the portion of the food, not very bad but not the biggest portion out there. definitely will come back.
I've been to tanpopo several times. The quality of food is hit or miss. Recently they divided their menu and if you want dynamite roll or sashimi you need to pay 14. But my worse experience with this restaurant happened tonight. I went to tanpopo tonight with a group of 12. They told us that we will be seated in 10 minutes. After 40 minutes of wait we complained and the owner did not even apologize. From now on, I will go to other AYCE places.
I was invited there for birthday parties two times. First time they did a mistake in my bill. The second time, after an hour and a half our orders started arriving. But they did not bring the food for all people at the same time. The owner and the waitresses were very rude. I don't recommend this place at all.
