They are kind if you are kind with em, like everywhere.Ok sometimes they don't add everything you ask for yet it is quite a nice place to go because the food is fresh and fine. Never had any problems with it, gets on your table easily and fast.
I did so to the suggestion of a friend who always goes there during her visit in Vancouver; My girlfriend and I had a great time-the sushis are floating on little boats which is great since you may actually see them before you choose.Quite different from all the other shops in town I've been to- actually, the only other place like that I saw was in Banff, it was a train, and the only other similar feature was the <> of the plates.
Don't let the 80's era video deceive you in the entrance; Tsunami sushi is a great place and they deserve the awards they won. I'll bring the lady back whenever I'm in the mood for great, fresh, tasty sushi!
I noticed that while stopping by to see their lunch for ten bucks menu- this one's a good deal already, I had a canuck burger and a beer (canadian) for 12$
-only two extra from the basic...
...My coworkers took a veggie burger( which was hearth shaped) and a grilled chicken one- we were all satisfied, the food was great and on time, just ended up there after attending a food convention and although this was not the best in the west, it was pretty close.
The food was fresh, and good quality- the chicken was a grilled breast, not some imitation like they sell in grocery stores. We ended up staying there for a while and watched a basketball game on one of many HD TV's, and chose some hits on the jukebox. The beer selection is huge and by three o clock the chicken wings happy hour kicked in just fine!
Definitely will go back there with fellow travellers!
