Don't like the service.

i dont like the service there...
food is acceptable but then the service isnt good at all.

wen we got our table... they didnt bother giving us a menu thing to tick off... we had to ask for it.

the waitor/waitresses seem to hate you. they dont smile at you at all...
(thats the only thing i dont like.)

i asked for boiled water and the waitress was like "okay" then she never gave it to us.. then we had to ask this guy for it and he gave it.

i read the other comments and i decided to comment too;

i always eat at that restaurant.. (im not trying to cause any problems with other members) but some comments are so NOT true. i think its just exaggeration;

although it's all cramped and stuff and always busy-

this is wat i think: (and theyre truee)

yes; its squishy but then its good that they dont doo the "cart pushing dimsum kind"
and their food is FRESH. you order it and they make it right away.
and sometimes it does come slow (depends on the time; ifi ts past 1PM then yeaah its slower)

you know how to say that their food comes slow and even if you made reservations you still hafta wait right?
answer: they make the dimsum right away; and they don't use any leftovers from the day before.

they are supremely busy that sometimes they even run out of the ingredients and they have to go buy it right away.

Space: their restaurant (size) seems smaller than former "Wong Gok" because they made a counter that was bigger than the former's and they have more tables. the decor is really nice. especially the lights too.

clean-ness: 100% clean. you can always judge a restaurant to see if its clean or not by going to their washrooms... and the washrooms there is really clean. (not that i always visit the washrooms there.. but yea)

service: you have no ideaaa how the waiter & waitresses are..
they "power" walk and it seems like theres someone chasing after them. (thats if you notice or not)
i think you seriously shouldn't blame the waiter/waitresses...especially wen their restaurant is "that" busy. it's not their fault; some ppl can forget to refil your tea and stuff you know...

food: awsome. but yea; it takes awhile to come (it comes fast if you order before 1PM) i lovee the fish espsecially ><" and the eggplant with the crab meat thing on top. although it might be smaller in sizee and or quantity comapring with other restaurants but i think its worth it to pay the price since its good.

reccomendations: ALWAYS make reservations the day BEFORE;
(yeah. some complaints were that they still made them wait)

but heres something that might be useful

call the place to see if their table is almost ready; THEN leavee and goo there to eat. *thats wat i usually do*

and DONT get a bowl of rice for every single person; they give you a hugee bowl of rice; so its best to have someone share it with you so its best not to get a bowl of rice for every single person.

oh yeah. if anything is wrong. always tell the manager(s) (dressed in black)
the waiter & waitresses cant really do anything about it so yeah.

thats all i got to say . hope this helps..
