I have eaten at this restaurant twice; once for the lunch buffet and once for dinner and both experiences were really good. As well, it has to be one of the cleanest restaurants in Langley with spotless dishes and cutlery.
The lunch buffet was good although when we were there there were only two chicken dishes and no other meat dishes. All the others were vegetarian but all were good.
The dinner choices are good and you can request varying degrees of spice heat for the main courses.
Both of my trips to the Bombay Bite were during our horrible snow weather during Dec. 08 and this restaurant seemed be the only business in the local area that was open and somewhat busy during blizzard type weather. As well they were having takeout customers showing up throughout the time we were there.
The name of the restaurant on the door is simply Bombay Bite.
It's worth a visit.
Thanksgiving Sunday Oct. 8/06 the buffet served somewhat tasteless turkey that was initially underdone and had to be redone. Many of the items on the 'steam line' buffet were somewhat cold but eventually they served up some warmer large prawns. There was ham and turkey to be carved on the carving board plus some somewhat dry pork 'bones' nearby. The desserts were there but not in any great numbers!
40 Buffet items to choose from plus takeout - Very good choices available with better than average Tandori Chicken and Vegetarian dishes. Good Indian desserts available inhouse or to go. Excellent Staff. Definitely worth a visit to this Restaurant.
