Ive seen some negative reviews, and dont understand why.
I have had some mixed feeling about this place, but the food is always good, and usually its fantastic. I have had to wait along time to get food on occasion, but its not advertised as fast food, so i dont mind. They have this thing called katsu don, and its very good. For an appetizer ive tried their seafood motoyaki, and its probably the best in vancouver, for fake crab meat.... they dont sauce it to much....... there shushi slices are large, and always good quality... very tender and fresh tasting.

Actually the only thing that i think is pretty hit and miss is there tempura, its great if you eat in, but if you eat out, it loses something.....

I went to this place on a recomendation, and it was everything i was told it would be. I shared some kind of patter for two, it was about 3 bucks i think, on the platter was ribs, suasage, shredded pork, and chicken, it also had some corn bread and some side salads. At anyrate this place is top notch when it comes to bbq. What i wasnt all that keen on was that you order standing up at the till, and then go sit down and wait for your food. Its almost like an assembly line kind of a feel. the decor is really great. Its definetly on my list of places that are great to eat at if your in a hurry, but ive walked away several times when they have line ups at the door.

A delightful experience

As I walked in I notice the carfully decorated and painted walls, but more importantly the smells that elude to a soon to come experience for the taste buds. My meal consisted of a taco, Burrito and a chilli stuffed with cheese, spices, and then battered with egg, it also came with two types of beans, and rice. It was a full meal for about $12. For dessert i had what appeared to be a tortilla shell deep fried, and then dressed up with caramel icing sugar, and ice cream, also very reasonably priced. I was originally gonna rate The Little Mexico Cantina as outstanding, but after rethinking while typing here, i decided that 5 overall is what they deserve.

From what i understand the origins of all the sauces come from family recipes, from several generations back, and are made fresh everyday.
They also offer a hot sauce thats remarkably hot, so let this be a warning to those who like it hot, get it on the side.
