Prawn Garden33035 First Avenue, Mission
Decent Canadian Chinese food
Submitted Tuesday, May 12, 2009 - 6:26pm [Dine in]

I have eaten at Prawn Garden several times and it has always been pretty good. It's never brilliant, just decent. The food tastes fresh and seems to use quality ingredients. For mission it's really not bad Chinese food. The prices are pretty fair as well. I thought the Singapore noodles were quite good as was the crispy pork chops with salt and chili.

Eleni's Restaurant33262 1st Avenue, Mission
Old school
Submitted Tuesday, May 12, 2009 - 2:07pm [Dine in]

I have eaten at Eleni's many times and it is definitely and old school Greek diner sort of place. The decor is pretty bad. Fake plants, worn carpets, fluorescent lighting. The service is just OK. Prices are just OK. But, the food is actually pretty good and the burgers are excellent. The fries are excellent too and are fresh, not frozen. Caesar salad is very good because the dressing is very tasty and made in house.

Bao Chau Vietnamese Restaurant2717 E Hastings, Vancouver
Good spring rolls.
Submitted Tuesday, May 12, 2009 - 1:54pm [Dine in]

I lived a block away from this place for a year and I ate there quite often. The food is good not great but the spring rolls are excellent. I crave them quite often. I give the food 4 stars for the spring rolls alone. The rest of the food I would give 3 stars. The place is not much to look at but I usually get take out anyway. The owner is quite friendly and I have always had decent service there. The prices are very reasonable.
