Having been to Japan and eaten at most higher end Japanese restaurants in Vancouver, I honestly think Shyun is amongst the top 3 Japanese restaurants in Vancouver. The sushi rolls are delicately made with layers of flavors using the freshest ingredients. Be sure to try the Flying Dragon roll and Volcano roll - the exquisite flavors come together finely and melt in your mouth. The cooked foods are also extremely authentic. Each dish is like a piece of art for the chef. Given the quality and presentation of the food, I think it's reasonably priced. The wait can be a little longer when it's busy so it's best suited for a leisure meal. It's definitely worth the trek out to Poco for such a treat. It is a good idea to call in advance (closed Sun/Mon) as well.
