I hate this cold weather. I have been looking for something that will warm by belly after work. Some co-workers and I drove by and decided to try this cozy looking restaurant. WoW!!! First what amazing service. Valet parking. Something only 5 star restaurants have. Very helpful on cold days. Headache find parking spaces dt. When we entered somebody helped us right away. The food selection is fantastic. We did not know what to order and the waitress helped us with our selection. We wanted something exotic and spicy and that's what we really received. We had the Pigs Jowl to start of with. Sounds weird but very tastey. Then we had Nork-Gra-Jok Thet (Ostrich), Tom Kah (Soup), Pla Pad Prig Khing (Sauteed Fish) along with a few other exoctic hard to pronounce foods. Every was so tastey it was unbeleavable. First time I ate and did not walk out feeling cold in this miserable Vancouver weather. If you like service, good food and staying warm you must try..

I am a calari freak. Everywhere I go I must try there calamri. This was such a dissappiontment. The pieces were so small and soggy it was sad. The portion sizes are also very mediocore. You would think they would hire better cooks but whats happening. Nice atmosphere, relaxing, good drinks but terrible food. It's busy but not work the prices that I paid.

I passed by this restaurant a million times before I finally worked up the courage to go in and try. This simple looking restaurant has to die for food inside. Restaurants come a dine a dozen in Richmond but to find an extrodinary restaurant is almost extinct in this area. I went in thinking it was just another Asian restaurant full of grease, msg and generic food but came out so happy and full it was almost magical. The service was even better than the food. There Horw Mok Maprao was so breautiful to look at, the flavor bursts into your mouth when eaten. They make the food as spicy or non spicy as you request. Not sure what to eat ask the wait staff and they will tell you exactly what your cravings are for the evening. Dessert is just as delicious as the food.
