Ive been here a few times, and if its not for the great food that they offer, i would not go back. The service is so poor that it makes me think twice about returning. I went here with a few friends, and not one of us was greeted nicely by the waitress. I understand she was busy but a smile would go along way. With that said, IMO they do have the best chicken rice and laksa in vancouver. Portion is abit on the small side but the quality is definitely there. I do reccommend this place if you are craving for a nice bowl of laksa but be warned, service is terrible!
I recently moved into this neighbourhood and this little cafe is just down the street from me. Boy am I ever glad I tried it out. I had the chicken pho and an order of the grilled beef salad rolls. Both extremely tasty. Portion was great. The quality was definitely there. My broth was fresh and full of flavour. Their menu is a bit small, as they don't have vermicelli (which is one of my favourite vietnamese dish), but overall I definitely recommend this cafe. Service was excellent and ambiance is nice. Very clean and well decorated.
This small vietnamese place on KIngsway is hands down has the best Bun Bo Hue in Vancouver. Do not order anything else, this best is known for their spicy beef noodle, everything else is just mediocre. I will definitely come back for more spicy beef noodles. It is by far way better than song huong. I urge you to check it out!
Everything about this place scream great food! but, that is not the case. Portions from their shard dishes menu is too small. Smaller than most appetizers from other restaurants. If you decide to go here for drinks and atmosphere, than i totally reccommend it, but if you come hungry and looking for great food, pls do not go!!!
New to the neighbourhood, but definitely not a neighbourhood restaurant by any mean. Expensive for viet food. For a tiny "large" bowl of pho, you can get two at any other viet restaurants on kingsway. Ambience is great. Presentation an A+. But the taste is just not there. I ordered the filet mignon special pho, and had to use half the bottle of hoison sauce just to add taste. Will not go back.
