Coffee Time1577 Danforth Ave, Toronto
Mediocare
Submitted Sunday, February 6, 2011 - 11:19am [Dine in]

This location of Coffee time defines the definition of being mediocre. I never liked Coffee Time too much, but I found this one particurly not that great. The food wasn't that good to me, and the prices weren't that satisfying with the quality of the food. The service was alright, the food being ready in a okay pace, and the ambiance was alright, nothing too good, nothing too bad. I don't really recommend going to this location though, there are always better coffee places, like Tim Hortons, or that small business called Premier Donuts and Deli where the coffee is much more cheaper, and good combo deals.

You have to try the breakfast menu of this place, it's pretty darn amazing. I live close to Premier Deli & Donuts, and I am pretty much a regular customer there. It is a small business, and there wasn't much to expect, but their breakfast combo of four pieces of bacon, two eggs, a batch of home fries, a toast, and coffee is an amazing deal. I eat this combo all the time, and it's only $4.45, and the bacon peices are really delicious, and I'm alway full and satisfied after. All i have to do in every morning is grab a five dollar bill and enjoy my regular breakfast here. The other stuff of the menu is also pretty cheap, small cofee is only $1.10 much cheaper than tim hortons. The guy who works here is pretty nice, and he always gets the breakfast done pretty fast, and overall I can just really enjoy my breakfast here all the time. If you haven't tried Premier Deli and Donuts, I strongly recommend you to try their breakfast menu, definitely worth it.

Tim Hortons has always been pretty darn good when it comes to coffee and donuts. In a period of my life, i went to this location pretty often and I found the food to be fresh and great, the price to be pretty good as usual, and the atmosphere was rather welcoming and the tables were clean. However the service was a bit slow for me at times, but other than that, this location of Tim Hortons is pretty consistently good.

Jack Astor's Bar & Grill133 John Street, Toronto
A place worth to try

I went to the one near scarborough town centre twice and i found it to be pretty good. The food was great, the price was pretty good, and the service was pretty good as well. However, it was pretty loud at times, but other than that, there were billiards to play, a lot of tv screens to watch and i found my experience there to be quite enjoyable. If you are willing to pay around 10 dollars for a burger meal combo, then I recommend you to at least try Jack Astor's once.
