(4.3) (4.3) (4) (4) (4.7)Dinner here was AMAZING. We made sure to get an earlier reservation (6:30) on a Friday evening, so we didn't have to worry about the crowd coming or having our reservation be bumped.
There were two of us having dinner this evening, and they didn't disappoint (at this time slot) for a romantic evening. The lighting, decor, and music were all absolutely perfect.
We started out with the deep fried tiget prawn wontons and chilled crab cake. He had a gin and tonic, I ordered a shirley temple (unfortunately he brought me a roy rogers, but I wasn't going to whine about it and have him run down three flights of stairs for another soda for this pregnant chick). Entrees were coffee crusted ribeye and spicy peanut sauce chicken. PHEN-O-MENAL. I have never had such good food enter my mouth. I HATE steak, and my girlfriend cut of meat almost turned me into a convert.
Dessert was cheesecake springroll, making for a perfect food ending to the experience.
Our server was fantastic, also the young man doing the clean up work was the one who deserved the kudos. Just an over all pleasant guy.
I suggest this restaurant to anyone...just make sure you go earlier in the evening, and I think you'll be hard pressed to bitch about ANYTHING.
I went to Gotham with a girlfriend out of a mood. I had never heard of that steakhouse. The experience was so awesome that in the same month I went again. I just stayed at the bar. (it was cocktail time...) they have a great chois of cocktail. some evenings they have a man playing the piano. I had a lemon merengue pie and my friend had a cheese cake. It was juste delicious. Like a home-made cake.
For all of you who like to drink coctails and have a dessert juste perfect!!!
This is a very nice place to go for seafood. The seafood is very fresh and I especially love the lobster and oil dip! Usually the service is very good. It is quite pricey though, its better value to go when you have a coupon from the entertainment book, LOL. The view is very nice, cozy at times.
