Burger's here are awesome
Submitted Thursday, April 28, 2011 - 4:47pm [Dine in]

I have been here twice. Both times I've ordered two different kinds of burgers. The burgers are awesome. very tastely and fresh, and natural. Their fries are awesome. You can order truffle flavoured or there are also a few other options. The burgers are very juicy and come with an olive or two. They don't have StrongBow (which is my favourite drink), so I ordered wine and they had my favourite german white wine (which is quite rare to find). Extra points for that. I love the booths. We were only two and at first that didn't want to give us a booth, then she changed her mind. So I was so happy about that. Eventually three other friends joined us. The service was solid, although there were two times I had to flag down the server to order another drink. This place is great to watch a sporting event. All the TVs are in great view no matter where you sit and the volume is just right (not too loud that you can't hear each other talk). It only got too loud when the period was over (hockey), but then they did turn it down after a while. I love this place and kits needed a place like this. I would come back for sure and not time order a different kind of burgers. There are so many to choose from. My friend only eats two legged animals and was thrilled taht they offered a turkey burger. She said it was fresh and an actuall burger and not some froozen round patty that she usually finds in restaurants. She also said it's hard to find a burger joint in Vancouver that serves turkery burgers and so she was thrilled. They also serve their burgers on bioche bread, which is a great bonus. I'll be back for sure. This may be my twice a month hang out.

Great food ! Service can be better
Submitted Thursday, April 28, 2011 - 4:31pm [Dine in]

I was so excited to eat here. I walked in and was greeted by the owner. That was a nice touch and very personable and friendly. I meet up with three of my friends. Good choice of wine selection. So we shared a bottle. The music was just right as we could hear it, but could also hear each other talk, but had to lean forward just a little. The server came over and took our orders after we received our drinks. When she brought us the food, she got two orders right and two wrong. Perhaps it was because of the music that she could not hear, but my friends confirmed that the server confirmed the order back to them correctly. I ordered the pancetta and gorgonozola pizza. It was awesome ! I loved it. One of my friends ordered a pizza with just mushrooms and said the tomato sauce lacked flavour. Another friend ordered the same as me and loved her pizza as well. The last friend liked her pizza, but since she has been to the new pizza joint in Gastown, said she liked it better over there. The decor is modern and nice. The food and wine are great. I would go back for sure and perhaps order something else next time.
