Monk McQueens601 Stamps Landing, Vancouver
doesn't live up to the hype
Submitted Monday, May 24, 2010 - 3:58pm [Dine in]

I came to this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend of mine. Although the location is great, the food did not live up to my expectations. It was quality was average, but this is a place to go for a nice view. The service was quick and friendly. The price of food was what you'd expect for the location of the restaurant. Nice place, average food.

coming back for more

Mintleaf is a nice little vietnamese restaurant/cafe. The decor is original and it is in a nice location. The lemongrass chicken is my baseline product Vietnamese food. Mintleaf provides a tasty succulent lemongrass chicken dish with rice. Top this off with a plate of 6 spring rolls (meat of vegetarian) for less than $6 ($5.75) and you will be stuffed. However if there is room, you will want to try the iced coffee or the banana pudding. Either way, you won't be disappointed. Food is served with a smile and the experience will have you coming back for seconds, thirds, and more. Highly recommended as there aren't many places you can get good authentic vietnamese food in this area.
