We went these as a group of 6. not a problem. some took the all u can eat. unfortunately, the stuff came well after the "normal meals", and then all at the same time. not very pleasant.
waiters appear to be some mildly retarded ESL student, who sometimes barely get what the customer want. Maybe it's my accent? On another occasion, 3 people went for the yakiniku. that was ok, very generous portions of meat.
All you can eat, not worth it; menus, worth it!
Went there for dine out. Had the shrimps (can't do much wrong with that), the salmon with mussels (ok) and a super heavy desert (pumpkin mousse). Delicious VQA- house wines! If you want to go there for the location and the inside, don't need to go for a whole meal. A couple of drinks will be more than enough.
Looking for something refined, skip it!
We went there for a dine out menu. Reservation ok, table ready on time. "Guest experience manager hostess", aka the lady at the entrance with the reservation list, was overwhelmed by two groups of 2 people each. Finally got a table and then realized, it wasn't the right one. Sat under the waterfall. The bench/ couch was too high for the lowish tables. Maybe ok for a drink, not for a meal. Food: surpisingly good (had the duck). Desert, with fresh chopped pineaple. Delicious wines paired with the menu, and generous glasses! After having had a look at the "normal" menu, I would not necessarely recommend this place, as it's a bit too expensive for the experience you get.
The music got a bit too loud at the end of the meal, so more a lounge than a restaurant.
We went there (2 people) for a dine out. Table ready on time, prompt service, knowledgeable waiter (unfortunately not nu...).
We took 2 different menues and both were surprisingly good.
I can only recommend the stuffed pear and the lamb. The cellarmaster showed a good taste with the paired wines, although the amount in the glasses could be more generous.
Fantastic desert. Mostly fresh tasting ingredients.
Also noteworthy: the decor! nice views of the inlet, design chairs (rememebre your hilays in southern France in the early 80's?).
Went several ties with friends from outta town. Was always a succes. The places has always a table available, food seems to be fresch, cilantro is delicious.
the appies are well sized and the pakora crispy. The very diverse curry varieties are all very tasty. A reasonable choice for a decent, unpretentious and relaxed evening.
Discovered this placed while arranging a driver's licence on commercial. Despite not big crowds in the place, the owner is very enthusiastic, counsels very well and doesn't get bored as you ask the same questions over and over. He will even give you little bits to taste from the things you haven't chosen. This man doesn't only run a very original place, he makes you discover the sense of hospitality. The food is very authentic, tasty and delicious.
The wine selection is comparable to the one in the Everest base camp, but what to expect from a country that isn't famous for its grapes.
Try it, definitely!
Lost in the back of a parking lot, nevertheless with a charming decor. pleasant background music. Food is varied a you can't really pick something bad. The mayonnaise is sometomes a bit heavy, but the fish is fresh. Attentive service and delicious green tea ice cream.
Good value for a 15 $ meal!
Went there for a party of 20 people. Decent little room in the back with nice decor (wine bottles in the walls). Although a preset menu, choice of 2 variations per course. Parmiggiano on the salad a little too soft, pasta 2 minutes after the "al dente" stadium. But overall very tasty and savy meals. And delicious espresso!
