About a week ago a friend and I were in the Steveston area and decided to visit the restaurant. The restaurant was empty and we were sat in a corner which seemed like a staff break table. We were also not given menus. After waiting for about 5 minutes we had to flag down a server to bring us menus. All the servers were gathered together to have dinner by the time we were ready to leave and one came and told us they were having dinner and if we needed anything to wait.
Once we ordered and the food came out we were more disappointed. The sushi rolls were falling apart before we even picked it up. I ran my finger across the saucer for the soy sauce because it looked dirty and I was right. It was oily and had dust all over it.
Food was overpriced for what we got. Restaurant seemed decently clean, but we did not get to see much from the corner we were in. We will not be returning.
Loved the food! Came out fast and fresh. Server was a tad bit slow for having only one other table when I went, but very friendly. Clean restaurant, cozy with benches. Nothing bad to say, would highly recommend. Meal was reasonably priced, about the same you would pay elsewhere except you get better food.
My friends and I came here for lunch, even with a reservation we waited about 15-20 minutes for our table.
We had their butter beef, chicken wings, squids and a lemon grass dish and all was delisious! I love the food! Although I think it could be a bit less expensive for the portion size.
Servers didn't come around much and when they did they didn't seem very happy.
But overall I was very satisfied :)
A friend and I went to eat here and we ordered california rolls, spider rolls, assorted tempura and beef terriyaki. The rice on the sushi was dry and falling off and didn't taste very fresh. The beef from the terriyaki smelled like it was rotten. Service was a bit slow for a restaurant that only had 3 tables to serve. Aside from the food the restaurant itself was nice and had a cozy feeling just because it was small. All in all, I wouldn't go back.
Food took 30 minutes to come out.. I understand that it was busy, but it does not take 30 minutes to make a crepe. Even in a fully pact restaurant it takes about 20 minutes for a full meal. Not only did it take forever to come out, it came out cold. For those wondering, it was a savory crepe, and it usually comes out hot. Service was terrible! Server came by once to take the order and was never seen or heard from again for the rest of the time spent there. I would never return to this location nor would I recommend anyone to dine here unless they love crap service :)
