Finally a decent Mexican Restaurant

I came here with a few friends on a Saturday night and was surprised to be seated promptly (albeit at the bar) after seeing the place so busy. It took a bit longer than i expected to be waited on by a server, but judging how the place was busy, i wasn't too put off by that. The open kitchen concept is great to watch and converse with the cooks/chefs. Only draw back is that there seems to be a lot of prep work in the kitchen that might not be that pleasant for the diners to observe. All the food items arrived at the same time and were served by the executive chef himself. Having tried all the tacos, can't say there are any that were bad. Also had the guac and mole poblano, and both were tasty. I would definitely come back here again.

Went to La Quercia for a dinner on a late Sunday night and was surprised to see the restaurant full of patrons. Reservations are a definite must since this place seems to be busy. The servers were friendly, charming and courteous. The items on the blackboard above the kitchen serving area was a bit dim and difficult to read in the current lighting setup. Furthermore, i found it a little bit trying to hear my partner during our dinner as conversations from the other patrons seemed to bounce around quite a bit. The food was served quickly on warmed plates and was quite tasty. The pasta appears to be made in-house (which is expected of an italian restaurant) with just the right about of sauce. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would like to come back with a larger group of people to try a bit of everything on the menu.
