Good food and lots of it.

My husband and I have had some bad luck with Chinese food in the last few months. So bad in fact that we've just stopped ordering it all together. But, tonight I had a craving and my husband reluctantly gave into it but only if I agreed to try somewhere that we hadn't tried before. Enter Maple Rich Restaurant. When our food arrived my husband immediatly dug in and announced that we had finally found ourselves a good Chinese restaurant. All of the dishes that we ordered were tasty (particularly the ginger beef) and after gorging ourselves we we still have lots left for a full dinner tonight all for under $40.

Great music, great service and great food....what more do you need? My husband and I live a long way from downtown but it's worth the drive for some excellent food make with fresh, top quality ingredients. Try the tortilla chips dusted with chile powder and the tacos for dinner. The mojitos and margaritas are fresh and tasty.

Top Quality Sushi.

Over the years my husband and I have tried every sushi restaraunt in Maple Ridge, many more than once. Shinobi has easily moved to the top of the list and become our favourite. The quality and presentation of the sushi are top notch and are what bring us back time and time again. My only complaint is that the servers are rather slow and uninterested.

Sango's Sushi is very much like the interior of the restaurant, hip and modern. They have put a great twist on sushi and come up with some with some inventive rolls that are lovingly plated.

Although I enjoyed the food, the service was just so so and the prices seemed much higher than other sushi restaurants. Also, I have a baby and this doesn't really seem like the type of place that I would feel comfortable taking her.

King's Kitchen22425 North Ave, Maple Ridge
Used to be our favorite!

We used to order from Kings Kitchen every couple of weeks but the last few times we were very disappointed. The beef was so over cooked that it was tough and we were unable to chew it. I was also very embarrassed when we had the same thing happen when we had guests and we had been raving about how great the food from Kings Kitchen is.

I have found the food to be better and a larger quantity when we have dined in but the ambiance is lacking and I would rather eat in the comfort of my own home.

I am currently looking for a new local Chinese Restaurant to order from.

We don't live close but we make an effort the dine here at least twice a year. We have also taken both sets of parents and they loved it. My dad still talks about how great the food was and if you knew my dad you would know that's a great review in itself.

The food is great and we love that we can take our baby here with no problems. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are attentive and accommodating.

I highly recommend!

It's my local!

I can honestly say that I have eaten at this restaurant at least a hundred times and have never been disappointed. The menu is very extensive, the portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are always very cheerful and accommodating.

I usually have my daughter with me and they offer free baby meals (Mac & Cheese, pancakes or mashed potato and gravy) which is awesome!

The one complaint that I have heard in the past from family members is that they didn't like the hash browns served with breakfast. Home Restaurant must have heard this complaint many times as they have now changed the hash browns.

Wish I could go more often!

My husband and I eat at GM at least once a month and are always happy with the meal. The meat that they use their dishes (including the lamb) is always very lean with all of the fat trimmed off. I cannot recommend their cheesecakes enough, I think we have probably tried every flavour at one point or another. If you like your curry hot (as we do) be sure to specifically ask for it that way otherwise they do make them quite mild.

As far as their prices, I am always pleasantly surprised when we receive the bill as it seems like a bargain considering how much food we get and we always have leftovers to take home.

The service can be slow but if you go before 5:30 it shouldn't be a problem. I personally enjoy to draw the meal out as my husband and I don't often get a night out to ourselves so for us the slow service is a plus.

I would highly recommend this restaraunt to all Indian food lovers!
