Kitsilano Location in Vancouver. Corner of 4th Ave & Yew st

This review is for the Kits location in Vancouver. Great little location. The food is good, but not too much variety. This place is mostly for drinks. Cant complain about that, since every drink is $4 everyday. Thats the only way they can keep customers. Ofcourse, the girls are super cute, so I guess that helps too. The ambiance is quited lively. Every night at 10 pm, they crank up the same song & get everyone in the place singing....lol.

japanese tapas? Not the greatest idea
Submitted Saturday, September 25, 2010 - 11:44pm [Dine in]

Purchased vouchers from socialshopper.com ($8 for $16 worth of sushi, including 1 free desert). Saturday night was super busy. Waited in line for 15 min. Sat down & ordered right away. Service was poor. Only 2 people working for a full restaurant. Our food took forever. Portions are very small & not worth the price. Although vouchers made it bareable. Tapas is the wrong name for this restaurant. There was nothing unique to their menu. Just the same you'd find at a normal sushi restaurant. Total time spent 1hr 30 min, which really should have taken only 45 min tops. Would not recommend.

Solly's Bagelry4071 Main Street, Vancouver
Rip Off!!

The only reason solly's Bagel is getting a poor overall rating is that they recently doubled their prices. Yes, doubled! I usually get their Eggels for $2.49, but now the eggels are at a whopping $3.95 each. Talk about price gouging. The food is really good, but not for that price. Unfortunatley, Solly's wont be getting my business in the future. I recommend going to Tim Hortons, which has similar food, but at half the price.
