A real let down !
Submitted Tuesday, April 10, 2007 - 7:16pm [Dine in]

We were told that the Spring rolls here were to die for and the food was truly terrific. That wasn't the case when we ate there for lunch today.

The menu is varied and large, but the service was horrible and the food was really lacking any real taste. Forget about heat even though we both asked for really spicy, the food was about as spicy as plain white bread.

We orderd the "FAMOUS" spring rolls to start our meal, but they never arrived and we asked twice and were told they were on there way. Our waitress was also the owner, she was very very friendly, but should leave the serving to a pro. We never ever recieved our drinks or our spring rolls, but you can bet they were on the bill when we went to pay.

Save yourself some agrevation and skip this one. THere are better Thai restaraunts within a few minutes of this one anyway !

A welcome change in Langley
Submitted Friday, February 16, 2007 - 4:54pm [Dine in]

It may be a little bit out of the way, but well worth the few extra mintues to get there for the food. The closest to traditional Thai food we have had since coming back to Canada.
The Thai Spring rolls are incredible, I could eat a whole plate of just the spring rolls if my wife would let me ! All the food so far has been very very good. Decent portions, great service. We have over heard the wait staff describing to other table what the food is like and what spice levels are rated like, and even in some cases steering certain guests away from food they certainly had no idea what they were ordering.
Very good place to also come for lunch, they have a &7.50 specail that includes soup/salad/spring roll and rice and 1 entree that is fast and filling.

A truly enjoyable meal
Submitted Friday, February 16, 2007 - 4:46pm [Dine in]

Wanting something filling, spicy and not the same ole same ole, we opted to give this new little restaraunt a try. The super friendly staff were very pleasant, accmodating and made sure we knew what we were ordering and what spice level we wanted.
Before our food arrived, we had to leave to attend to a family emergency. The staff here went above and beyond to accomodate and help out. They actually wrapped and delivered our dine in meal for us a few hours later. The wonderful staff even sent a little note wishing us well and thanking us for coming in.

The food was out of this world. We choose , Butter Chicken (medium heat), Lamb Vindaloo (extra hot), Basmati Rice, 2 Samosa, 1 Roti, 1 Nan & 1 Alu Paratha.

Putting the exceptional service aside, the food was to die for. Spicy yet flavourful, warming but not insanely hot and filling. The Best somosa's we have ever had.

A very clean and well run establishment, that we will definatly be back to many times.

They even threw in a couple of cups of Chai Tea for us with everthing else . Thats customer service and a good heart.

We drive from Langley for this PIZZA
Submitted Wednesday, January 31, 2007 - 11:40am [Dine in]

Some of the best pizza we have eaten is North America. The toppings and pizza choice is amazing. A very nice thin and crispy crust topped with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. I love the Pesto pizza and the wife loves the Spicy Mushroom. Grab 2 slices each if your super hungry and get them to slice them for you, that way you get to try 4 different pizzas !

Don't be in a Rush
Submitted Wednesday, January 31, 2007 - 11:23am [Dine in]

25+ minutes from stepping in the door, ordereing and actually getting our food.
The food was your typical fast food type fare, with prices starting in the $10 range. If your not a fan of heat, make certain you state that clearly to the cashier, my wife wanted a mild chicken sandwich but instead got the hottest one they serve, at which point the cashier only said "Would you like some Mayonnaise for the Sandwich" ??????? My wife and I switched our meals, ate and left.

Portion size wasn't that great for the dollar value spent, but in a pinch and wanting something spicy, Nando's might do.

Eat at your own descression !!!!

You will think you have died and gone to Heaven

Hands down, the best sandwich you will ever eat in your life !!!! Daily fresh bread, excellent cheese selection, meat and vegies are always top notch. Dollar for Value is HUGE ! When I am not on duty, a single sandwich will take care of my lunch and dinner.

I highly reccomend the Telus or the 9-1-1, sandwich.

Enjoy and Make sure you are sitting down when you bite into these heavenly creations !

Very Very Well Done Meal !
Submitted Monday, January 1, 2007 - 1:06pm [Dine in]

A solid, great tasting and price/value meal was had by all. From the outside it's not that fancy of a restraunt, the decor is simple and clean, but the FOOD STANDS ON ITS OWN. Very well seasoned, portioned, and served hot and fresh. My wife and I had one of the best meals we have had since moving to Langley here. The Tandoori Chicken is out of this world and the curries are earth shattering in flavour and variety.

Well Done East India Grill

The also have a salad bar and small buffet on for Lunch !

Save your money !
Submitted Monday, January 1, 2007 - 1:03pm [Dine in]

If you want to be ignored, treated like a lepur, spoken to very rudely, and eat cold and abismaly small portions, then Earls Langley is for you. We were seated right away, but waited 30 minutes to have our drinks taken by a very surley waitress. When the drinks finially arrrive 10 minutes laters they were wrong, and we were told we would have to speak to our origniall waitress who would be by shortly. 15 minutes later she comes by, Stands at the end of our table and proclaims" WHAT DO YOU WANT TO EAT", my wife made mention that our drinks were wrong what prompted little miss surley to state, "I dont think so, that is what you orderded. We deceided to ask for a manager who never showed up, so we simply got up and walked out.

Save your soul and your money and skip Earls LAngley, unless you like to be treated like crap

The Place to go for Dim Sum in Langley
Submitted Thursday, December 21, 2006 - 5:34pm [Dine in]

A no Frills, no nonsense, SOlid and consistant chinese food restaraunt. There Dim sum selection is adequate and very tasty. It could be a bit faster and more frequent for service but all in all a good value for dollar spent here.
