Salt Tasting Room45 Blood Alley, Vancouver
Ok
Submitted Wednesday, May 30, 2007 - 9:33am [Dine in]

I went to salt a couple of days ago. I have to say that it really isn't much fun to get to. You will find all kinds of strange individuals lurking in the alley leading up to it. That said we did have a pleasant enough experience once we walked in the door. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was satisfying. I’d go back.

Las Margaritas1999 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver
An easy experience

I like this place for a casual Mexican experience. The Margaritas are excellent, the food has great value and the service, while it is the weakest point, is solid. I've always managed to leave satisfied. I will be back.

Vij's1480 West 11th Avenue, Vancouver
Solid experience

I think calling Vij's average is a little bit irresponsible. You cannot have an ethnic experience like this anywhere else in Vancouver. He is truly one of our stars. You might find a more authentic version of Indian elsewhere but not more unique one.

Caffe Artigiano763 Hornby Street, Vancouver
Starbucks?
Submitted Tuesday, May 29, 2007 - 10:22am [Dine in]

It is so nice to have a solid alternative to Starbucks near my workplace. At Artigiano you can find out what espresso really tastes like. Unfortunately it may take a little longer than across the street.
