I went there 2 times and never be disappointed.
Appitizer: The baked oyster is so good. and it has 6 oysters!
Entree: I had Mignon. It was juicy and prepared perfectly. the side dish is gralic mashed potatoe which is a good match wtih the steak.
My friend had Rib Eye and New York steak. both are good and large in portion.
for $29, with appy and dessert, I would say it worths! excellent value.
Oh. by the way, the waiter & manager are so nice too.

I went to Abdul since five years ago when I was working in Burnaby & introduced by colleagues. I used to go there for lunch at least once a week. Even I changed job, I still went back when i had the chance & time. :-) Glad that I work in burnaby now again and I can go there everyweek.
What's good? Their wrap is excellent. The beef, chicken & lamb are all delicious. The sauce is homemade. I especially like their garlic sauce. I usually ask for extra in the wrap or on the rice.
The owner is friendly and nice. Just a little secret: There was one time that he wrapped the donair for me with rice. beleive me, it is the most delicous wrap I ever had. All the juice is absorbed by the rice. !! However, the owner won't make it anymore because it is too messy to make it. :D
Well, it is one of my top places. :)

I went there last Friday with a friend. My experience was ok.. not too bad.
First, I found out the Waitress is way too talkative. I want to talk with my friend (hey, it is a dating), not u, the waitress. She just kept talking for 10-15 mins. wth.
Food: Sushi: mediocre. I had toro & ikura. Toro was not fat, just like tuna. Ikura, taste too fishy. not flesh. They better learn how to use sake to wash the ikura
Roll: I have smoked oyster roll and another special ham roll. Actually, both are wrapped by ham. but you can feel the 'fight' btw the taste of ham & the oyster (or the fish). Either they should torched the ham, or just take away the ham. and get rip of the cream cheese inside. It makes the taste too heavy.
Ebi Mayo and Agitashi tofu /egg plant special.. Taste good. good idea. However, it didn't deep fried completely and there are flour btw. Should absorb some water b4 deep fried.
Presentation: Actually, the presentation is great. But just no the food. I think the chef is trying to make something new something fusion but he has to really taste what he came up with.
Price: overprice. not going to go back if not invited

Well, i left one review before but probably too long and got banned.
anyway, let me summarize my experience:
1) Overall - my friends and I return there at least once a week b/c of their food quality is good, and the price is not that expensive.
2) Nagiri Sushi - Fresh and tasty. Must try: Ikura (salmon roe) - taste sweet and not fishy. OToro - torched one, a must try. Their Otoro is only 1/3 of the price of others but quality is also A grade. Hirame - a fish from Jap, taste something between Toro and Hamachi.
3) Soup - their miso soup is different from others. There is fish inside. But, must order when you just get a seat!
4) BBQ - not many choices. but I like the BBQ sea snail.
5) Sushi Roll - must try the unagi and real crab one. Tasty!
6) Appetizer - Akimon - fish liver. Very tasty and good with Sake!
7) Service - Good. Even with only husband and wife running the sushi bar, they provide a warmth feeling to customers.
8) Must reserve!! The shop is small. but, I recommend to eat in. :)

A great Furniture store / Museum. But not for food

Nothing to say. See my rating.
Those dim sum are just reheat from Microwave, not good ones.
I had their Chong Ching Chicken. It taste ok but overcook.
For those whatever burger, I can put down ridiculous for my comment.
I had their dessert. I wonder they made it or bought it somewhere else. It just doesn't fit their food.
The wine list is good. that's a plus.
Other than that, the only thing that I amaze is the decor. It is just amazing. If the restaurant cannot go on, I suggest the owner to turn it into a private museum or a funiture store.

I went to this restaurant last week for dinner. I had the King Crab for 3 courses. Incredible. Compare to other restaurants that 'claim' to have crab on sales (e..g $9.9 per lb) and then give you a 9lb crab saying it is 11lb. Gingeri doesn't have the low sale price, it is around $15 per lb, but 9lb is 9lb. And they don't charge too much more for making 3 courses.
THe most important thing is, they cook the crab fresh!! Once course is the steam crab legs with garlic, it is so juicy!! and then 2nd course is the deep fried crab upper legs. Excellent. Very tastey. The 3rd one is fried rice stuffed on the shell. It is good.
Then I had other dishes as well (for 5 ppl), and they all agree the food quality is good.
Oh. Forget to mention, I love their hot pudding!!
