I said I would keep trying this place, and I really found that it has been changing for the better again.
Went here with a good friend and we shared the platter with 2 glasses of wine for $30 after the tip...fantastic value.
The food was done right, and definitely better than what it was starting to taste like.
Service was hipster and casual, but friendlier and more attentive than usual, so that was nice.
And the music was finally at a decent level so we could carry a conversation.....On the up and up again, and I am very pleased

I have been meaning to try this place out for quite some time now, so took a wander down there with a friend the other night.
Meals of wine and cheese are definitely up there for things that make me tick. The wine selection was great as was the selection of food fare which was mainly local, and that is always good.
I enjoyed the ambiance of share picnic tables, and there was still a feeling of privacy.
Mostly I enjoyed the knowledge of the staff. I always find that I appreciate what I am eating/drinking more if I know what it is in it's entirety.
I don't think this will become a frequent haunt, but definitely a once in awhile treat

We had the pleasure of doing a 10 course vegetarian tasting menu that the chef created for us. It was an absolute treat, because as a vegetarian the choices are usually narrowed down to about 2 items in a place like this.
The dishes were inventive and tasty. Service was great and the wine picked out to accompany our meal throughout was outstanding.
Will definitely return!
Thank you for giving a vegetarian foodie such a great experience!
