(3)Food, service, table setting - all done with care. Many sushi restaurants in North Van are on Lonsdale...how will you bring in the customers? Make original sushi that takes great, hire staff that are efficient and communicate well with customers, set your table with some beautiful dinnerware. The price was really reasonable too! Yes, you need to try this place. Few of the sushi restaurants on Lonsdale have all of these. Hachi Hana is another great choice.
Enjoyed schnitzel dinner with husband. The lunch size is available for dinner too - as Goldilocks would say "just right". Tasty schnitzel with cabbage and spatal as sides. The service was good and the decor was nice. If you're thinking about trying something a little different tonight. give it a try! After going, so many people wonder why they didn't walk in the door earlier.
I was so disappointed. The view is nice, if you get a window seat, but otherwise, the price, the taste, the service. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It is well marketed but I feel the kitchen the dining room staff need more training! So many tourists are coming here to try their salmon. Hopefully they will go to the Boathouse also - get a taste of great food and service.
The duck is my favorite dish here - I order it often! Beautifully plated dishes. The service is the best - they treat you like royalty. Martinis can be found here too - their martini menu covers two pages! The menu hasn't changed over the years - perhaps now is a good time to revamp it! Whatever they add, I know it'll be great.
These doughnuts are famous! Even without the chocolate dip, they are worth travelling across the city to get! They are so popular that it is really crowded on the weekends - would more staff help sell more doghnuts?
The brunch I had was so well presented and so flavourful! The chef is a genius! I can't find a website for this restaurant that tells the hours but they should let eveyone know that they make a mean brunch.
This is my favorite sushi place! The sushi is always fresh and tastes great. The staff are always happy to see you. Keep up the good work! The table in the corner seems small - maybe it's time to expand the restaurant?
Fast service on a Friday evening with some tasty fajitas - try the shrimp one! Looks like they have hired more staff. Water glasses were always full and the appetiser came out quickly and the main course came soon after.
