I decided to head over to Cafe Crepe on the spur of the moment. I have loved their crepes in the past! It was a few minutes before their stated opening time. I stood outside waiting for them to open, watching 3 employees walk in, as the time ticked past 8am (opening time) to 8:07am. I finally got let in at this time and then was ignored for the next 8-10 minutes as myself and another lady stood waiting for service. We just watched 4 of them stand in front of us getting ready for opening (after opening), without even a hello, or sorry for the wait! They could have at least started my order!! Finally, at almost 8:20am, someone took my order. When I finally got my crepe, I was further disappointed by the lack of toppings (I ordered a sugar and cinnamon crepe, and it barely had any sugar or cinnamon)!
After I got my crepe, I decided to speak to the manager and complain. She did say she was sorry, but proceded to give me an excuse (they were updating computers...could they have not done this BEFORE opening??) and that was pretty much all she gave me.
It was truely an all round disappointing experience. I don't think I will be going back to this location.

The food here has been excellent since I started going here (1 year), but about 5-6 months ago, my husband and I noticed a sudden change in the customer service. The servers are rude now, they won't make any substitutions whatsoever. I don't know if there was a change in management?! It was kind of disappointing. It is still the best place in New West for sushi, but if you expect exceptional service, you might want to go somewhere else.

My aunt and I wanted to go for Japanese Food near Metrotown, but had didn't know what there was. We looked on here to find somewhere that had good ratings, and found Isami. It was AMAZING! The best salmon sashimi we'd ever had...so tender, yet not squishy, and SO YUMMY! Their tempura was also lovely, as was the spinach with peanut sauce, oshinko roll and spicy tempura roll. I don't normally go for the spicy rolls, but this was excellent.
The service was also great! They were very attentive, especially the male server, and exceptionally polite!
When we got the bill, we were happy to see that the bill was only $40, and we were full of food (and beer)!
The ambiance was wonderful, very quaint. Would be great for a nice romantic meal (at an affordable price).
I would recommend this to anyone!
