Just went to MM tonight and it was great not average but great! I used to go to MM weekly but after a few mishaps with new servers I stopped going but after hearing that the old MM was back I had to go check it out. I walked in and wow the changed the place up but it still has that cool calm feel that MM has always had maybe even better. We were greeted by welcoming staff this time and I was happy to find out that they let go of the certain waiter who they had received complaints about and hired new staff. Just a little note, the owners of this place are great and always make you feel welcome. My wife and I sat were seated at our table and we immediately noticed that they have have mogo fries back! I ordered my favourites which are chicken masala , Prawn Di Piazza , mogo , naan , a beer to drink. my wife on the other hand ordered something she didn't try before, she ordered papri chaat , the mumbai mix , kuku paka , vindaloo , rice , naan , and a lassi ( yoghurt shake ) to drink. For dessert we had kulfi ( indian ice- cream), it was a nice end to our meal. I have to say that the food surpassed our expectations coming in and from now on I am a loyal customer to Mumbai Masala. The food had the right consistency , amount of spices , portions , price, and flavour. What more could you ask for. All in all I highly recommend Mumbai Masala and if your unsure about what to order just order the dinner thali its great for new customers to find out what they like. Sorry for the long review but I just love this place so much.
I would recommend making a reservation just in case because it was packed the day I went!
