Well what can, before they closed the location we probably went to East Side about 20 times since it opened. Only couple times did we has slow service but most of the time it was good and fast. Can't say the same for the one time we went to the North Van location.
The menu changed often so that was good but the wife was disappointed when they removed the Chicken Marsala.
Now the priced did creep up quite a bit over the years and started to outweigh the quality of food.
I was quite surprised the locations closed as it was always packed when we went there.

Mr and the wife decided to get some seafood and headed to White Rock Boathouse on Fri night. Got there and was 1/3 full. The hostess was friendly and so was the staff but the waitresses need to get those fake big smiles off their faces.
Ordered food and the appetizer (Deep Fired Oysters) came fast and were pretty good. The main meals were quite slow and the wife's stake/scallops portion was quite small. The place looked clean compared to the other reviewers experiences but for me the lighting was too dark.
Now even though the food was not bad it wasn't worth the price and I've had better from East Side Mario's (Langley before it closed) for much cheaper.
Before the tip it came out to $100 for three dishes and three drinks and I'd say I got a better deal at the River Rock all you can eat for $70 for two people with drinks.
