Stopped in during the summer days festival on 12th street 2010. Was hungry and am very picky as have restricted diet due to some medical condtions. Decided to try the California roll special for a snack. it was delicious!! Husband was down the way and bought some food that was inedible so he lost his appetite. I told him that i would get him a California roll but he was dubious about trying anything else. When he bit into the large, fluffy, fresh California roll his eyes lit up! Since I am usually vegatarian I do not have the C.roll anymore but husband became a regular for good reasons. Would love to see them have a restaurant makeover to suit the food quality and so that the cooks have better space and equipment to put out their top quality creations and there is more comfort and ambiance for the patrons. How does one go about that anyway?
Although I do not frequent any restaurants these days i have had breakfast at Angelina's several times over the past 4.5 years. I enjoy it especially in the summer, outside, gazing at the river sitting in the sun with a cup of the good coffee. When sitting outside one can be forgotten but it is fine as the owners are such lovely people it does not mattter to me. I enjoy the poached eggs and potatoes and am very pleased on each occasion to have broken my fast there.
