As a neighbourhood joint, I think Honjin's pretty good. When I go there I'm always happy with the quality of dishes I get. The sushi's consistently good and fresh and the same goes for the service. The servers are always gracious, welcoming and warm to me.

All I know is that when I have a craving for sushi at a mid-range price, I can rely on Honjin to make me happy.

I recommend giving the Rainforest roll, Yaletown roll and Roundhouse roll a shot, they're really tasty!
