The Bo Kong is seriously great
Submitted Monday, March 26, 2007 - 4:09pm [Dine in]

I HIGHLY recommend the Bo Kong. I’ve been eating there for over 6 years. I think it’s one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Canada.

The food is remarkable. There are so many delicious dishes. I recommend the standby favourites: The Beancurd Rolls in Black Bean Sauce, the Special Fried Shitake mushrooms and the Spicy Green Beans. I always bring several people with me when I go so that we can get a variety of dishes (at $8-$10 each it’s easier on the wallet). The dim sum is also great though it pays to ask the server for recommendations if you aren’t familiar with dim sum.

The staff is courteous and kind and always willing to make a recommendation. The food is prepared fresh (yes, even the sauces) to order; so don’t be surprised if it takes more than 15 minutes to get your food.

You have to try this place. I’ve been to both locations (Richmond and Main Street) and they are consistent.
