Great Local Breakfast, Fantastic Service
Submitted Sunday, October 10, 2010 - 8:11pm [Dine in]

Tried this place out one morning and while it doesn't look much from the out side, the welcome you get when you walk in the door is warm and friendly.
Love the food and Angelina remembers the people that come through her door" do you want decaf this time?" as i have often just come off night duty.
My husband and I love this place and is just a walk down the quay from where we live.
The photos on the walls are all local scenes taken by Angelinas husband and are great.
Warm, friendly and a great breakfast, then a walk along the quay beside the Fraser River, what a way to start the day.

Better than Vera's
Submitted Sunday, October 10, 2010 - 8:03pm [Dine in]

Found this place when looking for a place to live in New West.
Great burgers, I tend to swing between the lamb burger and the meatless burger.
The service depends on who is there, some of the waitresses clearly have no idea that to get the tips they need to at least give the impression of being nice to the clients, the waiter there is FANTASTIC and has a great way with the customers, once you have been there twice then you are regular and get a special brand of avuse from this guy, he really is very good and enjoys serving the customers.

great for a special night out
Submitted Thursday, August 28, 2008 - 8:30pm [Dine in]

Sanafir Tapas lounge, is not the cheapest around but it is a great place to go for that special occasion. Try the leather lounging beds upstairs and relax on the cushions as the repaste you have chosen is delivered to you. Try the crab rissotto, it is to die for and the chef is very secretive with the recipe!!
All in all a great night for a special occasion.
Word of warning the frontage is soooo discrete that we walked past it twice!!

Great place for brunch
Submitted Thursday, May 1, 2008 - 4:37pm [Dine in]

Sinday brunch is a real treat. Our croissants were great with fresh preserve, I had the West coast eggs benedict, which were some of the best i have tasted so far in vancouver. My friend had the french toast, she loved it and would have had a second helping given the chance. The service is some of the best i have experienced form around the world. Friendly and attentive without being suffocating. Basically a great place for a sunday brunch treat for anyone. I would definately return and take out of town friends here for any of the menus.

chocolate mousse to die for
Submitted Friday, March 28, 2008 - 10:42pm [Dine in]

What a great place, our table wasn't ready when we arrived and had to wait - complimentary glass of wine in our hands. The food was hearty and portions a good size. The service was good and it was full and busy that night ( dine out for life). The food arrived together for each course and in a timely manner.
The chocolate mousse is to die for. Watching peoples faces when they took that first spoonful was an experience on it's own!!
I would definately take out of town visitors here and would recommend it to all my friend in the dining group.
