Service is ok, not that bad, not that good. not sure too much about the ambiance as we dont really sit inside there, ive never spent too much time focusing on it, cause we usually enjoy our ice cream while walking around. its in an awesome location thats forsure!!!

Kisamos Greek Taverna3420 Moncton Street, Richmond
out for greek food

thought id share a little about my experience at kisamos. kisamos is a quaint small place in stevston. ive been there many times and recently went there again. Got to say that its too small for the amount of people that they sometimes have in there. Its too cluttered. I prefer restaurants with a little more space.
The service has been okay there. They used to have a long time server there who was the best one ive met. She was full of energy and really open and good at connecting. the other servers seem pretty frazzled most of the time.
The food is pretty good. For a good price, we get a huge plate of food, souvlaki, rice (which is ok), potatoes (which are so sofy and yummy) and greek salad. Their hummos is AWESOME....very tasty and fresh.
All in all its a pretty good place. The kids like it. The food is probably what makes it the most, service is ok and ambiance is better when not so crowded.

Caesar's Restaurant3880 Steveston Highway, Richmond
dinner
Submitted Tuesday, April 13, 2010 - 5:47pm [Dine in]

we went to dinner at caesars the other night and i was not impressed. ive been going there for years, thru the changes of a few owners and changes of the ambiance, etc. My kids and i really wanted to check out the live music, cause i really wish there was more live music around. And it was really loud, well the music was. it was actually loud enough that it was realy hard to hear the words of the singer. The service was not that good. I got an almost cold energy from our server. I was in an appy mood, so i ordered calamari and dry garlic ribs. The ribs were 10 bucks and there were six, on a little side place with a shady peice of lettuce. I coudlnt believe it. i didnt even want to share with the kids, cause there wouldnt be enough. Then i tried the calamari, it was all floury, and chewy. Tasted underdone and also so chewy. Gross. (I went out to kisamos a few days later for some good calamari). My son ordered the burger which he had there a couple weeks ago and it was way different. The patty was chewy and the top of the bun was hard enough that i heard it when i banged it up on the side of the plate. My daughter was craving hot wings, but becuase shes 10, she didnt want them that spicy. the server said he could get the kitchen to tone it down, so we tried them and they were too hot for me to eat. even covered in ranch dip. my daugthers friend ordered a plain cheese pizza which was actually the best thing at the table. i was honest with the server, when he asked me how things were. he seemed a little shocked, however took 2 things off the bill. still costed be $57 and we didnt even drink anything other than water....i will probably go back and try it again, its kind of a hit and miss thing, i guess....
