Cool Idea!
Submitted Tuesday, July 12, 2005 - 1:08pm [Dine in]

I like the idea of the Reef. It was a really cool restaurant but when I went last summer it was super hot in there and it was hard to enjoy my food while beads of sweat rolled down my forehead. The restaurant faces West getting all the afternoon sun. The food was actually quite good and it was priced reasonably.

Gotta try the burger!
Submitted Tuesday, July 12, 2005 - 1:06pm [Dine in]

There's a $12 burger on the menu - you gotta try it - it's the best burger I've ever had. Nice atmosphere and good service - a must try. They have a Prix Fix menu that is quite reasonable for more formal dining.

Good Deal for a Good Meal!

Most definitely the food here is a good deal. I just don't like the line ups when you're not early enough or having to order your food from the kitchen and then sitting down.

Fun in the summer

It's a great place for the summer. Food is pretty good - decent prices. Service is usually good and the ambience is nice. It's a good place to people watch from the patio.

St. Honoraire (sp?) Cake

Sorry about the spelling. They sell these cakes - they call it their Bon Bon cake - and it's delish and very inexpensive compared to other bakeries. Check it out. It's a no fuss bakery - can't say that I love their other items but the cake is good!

Apple Tarts!
Submitted Tuesday, July 12, 2005 - 12:46pm [Dine in]

When I was a child my father used to bring me to the Cafe across the street. Can't remember the name of it now but they used to have the best apple tarts. When the cafe closed down I didn't know where to go for them but discovered that New Town Bakery has the recipe for them. They are fantastic. They're about $1 each but the best darn apple tarts in town. Don't know much about the other food they serve or their other baked goods - I only went there to pick up some apple tarts.
