For the most part I thoroughly enjoy Swiss Chalet. It has a very friendly like feel to it as it is completely friendly atmosphere with no pretensionwhatsoever. This young dude eating by himself who was sitting directly across from me kept staring at his cchicken and it made me laugh. Maybe the had something on her breasts!?
Anyhow on this particular visit, we were in out shopping and looking for a quick (and somewhat healthy) bite to eat. We had originally intended to go to a Red Robin but they suck so we jumped ship and went to the Chalet.
We got in and ordered, got our food pretty quickly but it was too much even after making it perfectly clear what we wanted to order a little food.. The food was alright but nothing to write home to Switzerland about. The waitress was the diner type whom you would visualize wearing roller skates and blowing pink bubblegum bubbles while taking your order from the driver side window of your car. I guess I can't expect too much from a place this cheap.
Anyway, I guess if you're tired at the end of the day and just want something quick and healthy, go here. But if not head to the Keg or one of the other nifty places in the city.

Okay food at Boston Pizza if you get the lunch special for $10. But I wouldn't pay more or pay for more than that.
I came here back in July and had the Rib + Dark Meat Chicken w/ Combo for $22 post-tax and it was bad/terrible and certainly not worth $22. The seats were decent.
