Raglan's Bistro15 Lonsdale Ave., North Vancouver
My favourite weekend spot
Submitted Monday, March 22, 2010 - 1:38pm [Dine in]

My boyfriend and I hit up Raglan's almost every weekend... either for brunch, lunch or dinner & drinks. We've introduced our friends to this place and they love it!

Au contraire to a previous post, we find the portions HEAPINGLY HUGE! The burger and fries, poutine and pizzas each(I just had a pizza 2 days ago) are large and can feed 2 people. You are not going to Domino's or Pizza Hut, so don't expect the pizza to have thick crusts and huge american-type fatty pizzas. They are thin-crust, like original Italian, cheesy and delectable!
There is a wide variety of foods on the menu to choose from and they are ALL delicious. My fave is the "hippie hash" for brunch- spinach, peppers, hash brown squares and eggs benny to top it off!

For a night out, Raglan's is perfect. It's intimate, and the drinks are humongous!! Seriously... you can get a drink the size of a large vase or fish bowl. The prices are not extravagant at all. My boyfriend had his birthday here this year and it was great fun. Slower service with a large group, but that is expected.

Please try it out! Raglan's is more than a cool, surfer, carribean spot (which it is).... the atmosphere is RAD and the food is just as good!
