We took out Salted Fish Fried Rice, Fried Pork Chop, and Fried Wonton.
The meat in the wonton was as small as your pinky. The fried pork chop's meat is so thin and the rest is batter. With these two dishes, we felt like we were eating grease because of all the oil in the batter and the wonton wrapper. And they were not good. The fried rice was mediocre. We've tasted other a lot better.
We are staying away from this place. We will never even recommend it even if it was the last Chinese place around.

I heard good things about the food at Cucina Manila and so decided to order party trays for a get together we are having. I asked for details for tray sizes.
The first time I called, they said the medium tray fed 10 -15, and asked me to call back to be able to talk to someone who would know better. I called the second time and they said the medium fed 10. Since the number of people that the size would feed seemed to be lessening, I asked for the exact size, which was pretty small (8"x6"x2"). So I asked for the measurement of the large, at least to give me an idea of how many it fed (by the way, when I asked how many the large fed, they simply said they don't know). They did not know the measurement. Again, they asked me to call for the third time since it was a bit busy. So I did, and asked for the measurement. They did't have it. Surely there was at least one person who knew, right? Apparently not. So being very p**sed at the situation, I asked them to measure it while I waited on the phone. The person I was talking to said they didn't have anything to measure it with. I was done with the conversation.
Obviously these people don't care about the business, or else they would do something about providing good customer service.
I will never order from Cusina Manila nor go there. Good service should come with good food to make a good restaurant.
I will call PinPin Restaurant to order right now. I never had a problem with them, and everytime I call, I get a straight answer.

The first time we knew of Doc's was last August 2006. There was a line-up and we decided to go elsewhere. We had to ask why there was a line since only half of the restaurant was full. They didn't have enough servers.
We were there again a few weeks ago. There were probably 6 tables occupied so we decided to go in. It took about 15 minutes before a server even came to take our orders. And then it took another 45-50 minutes for the food to arrive. It took so long that my daughter, with whom I am supposed to share my chicken tenders and fries with, fell asleep hungry. Aside from the chicken tenders, we ordered fish and ships. How complicated can that be? The fish was overcooked and tough. The fries weren't even hot.
I will never go back to Doc's and I wouldn't recommend it. I'd rather go to the hotdog stand outside.
