Been going to this place for years. Definitely a unknown gem. Mom and Pop shop ran but really a mom and pop. Great place for breakfast food, they serve the best bacon and eggs in the morning or for lunch. Homemade soups, fresh burgers, grilled cheeses, and real hot turkey sandwiches.

Went there for a birthday party of 15 people. Don't get me wrong, I come from a family that owns a restaurant as well and I know it is hard to service a large table with no set menu, but this was absolutely pathetic in terms of service.
They sat us in their private section and we took up the entire section except a small table of 2 that was like 4 feet away from our large table. Some unexpected guests showed up and we wanted to take the open table of 2 but were advised we cannot as we did not book it. Come on, how much more business could you do with the extra to seats and we had people to fill it, plus who would want to sit in a private section next to a big party anyways. so fine we left it and they did fill it with 2 other customers but they asked to be move to another part of the restaurant after 2 minutes of sitting down.
The servers had really poor english which I am used to but atleast know your menu and dishes. When we ordered we had to repeat several times and point to the menu on what we wanted. So we got there at 8pm and at 9:45pm we still were missing several dishes. We asked the server to follow up, took us like 10 minutes to explain the situation of missing food. Finally the manager type guy came to questioned us back on if we ate it and forgot that we ate it...come on!! There were atleast 4 dishes missing. No apology what so ever. Even when the food that actually came, the servers just put down the plate, mumbled what the dish was, and quickly left. We had to figure out what the server said and figure out oursleves who ordered what. They didn't even once asked if we wanted more drinks, more food, or how everything was going.

This is definitely not worth going back to and highly do not recommend even trying for the first time.

Food was disappointing

Was there last week for dinner. Awesome location and waitress was superb but in the end it is the food that matters and it wasn't what I expected. CAB tenderloin tips = meat was raw (I am a big fan of rare steaks but this was cold raw) and fried onions were cold. Ahi Tuna = no ginger taste and the clowslaw tasted aged. Clams, Mussels, and Fries (Spanish) = was ok but kind of bland and sausages could have been seared a little instead of just boiled. Crab Avacado Sandwich = Crab tasted old, bacon was cold like out of the fridge, bread was very chewy, and fries tasted and looked like fried with very old oil. Maybe I am too picky but I should be considering the location and price. Unfortunately I won't be back.
