Title describes it all.
We had the calimari starter, salmon grill and fish and chips. The food was pretty good. It was not oily, it was seasoned properly and the fish was cooked properly. We have no complaints about the food itself HOWEVER the service was amazingly poor.
Walked in and seated immediately. Menus arrived within minutes. So far so good. Waited 20 minutes before someone took our drink order, another 10 minutes to get our drinks. Another 30 minutes before we got our food.
Interestingly, the table of 2 behind us left before ordering, (they were waiting 15 minutes before they left) and the table of 8 next to us left after 20 minutes of waiting)
It was also amazingly dirty. The "clean" table we were seated at was covered with sugar / salt. The main walkway is covered with bits of food. Wife's water glass was crusted.
Would we go back? Not for the price we paid. There is better value for money. Service is an integeral part of the dining out experience and it was truly lacking today.
Food was very good. We had the korean BBQ beef and potato noodle dish.
The portion size was large. Couldn't finish it and had to take it home. Meal came wiith the standard Korean side dishes, soup (was disappointed it was miso soup) and a cabbage salad. Very yummy.
It is not cheap eats but the price is very reasonable considering the portion sizes. We would most definetly go back.
The only caveat is the environment. You have Korean MTV playing fairly loudly in the back ground. Not a romantic place, nor a place for quiet conversation. However we did not have a booth so experience inside a booth may be different.
