There's a line up most of the time but it's because they're so yummy! And the place is tiny but everyone usually eats and goes so the line moves along fairly quickly.
Good ramen! Fast food! Great price! How can you say no?
Some might complain it's a bit stuffy but for some reason I like how small and crowded the place is.. it gives the place a different vibe.. like japan's skytrain!
You HAVE TO try it if you still haven't!!
I always like going to Leisure. The ambiance is my favourite part. When it's not crowded it's very quiet and comfortable. The decor is interesting.. if you take a look around it's very antique-y.
I love their waffles. They are really yummy. The ice-cream waffle and the tuna waffles are my favourite! They also have really yummy club house sandwiches.
The only iffy thing is the service. They're not rude but not exactly delightful either.
Pasta is my favourite food and when i first heard about the new pasta place i was so excited to try it out. But maybe my high expectations didn't help...
The service is alright. They're fast at seating you and taking orders but after that there isn't much. They waitresses are around but don't give much service.
The pasta portions are VERY big.. which can be a good thing but at the same time it takes away from the presentation. I find that there isn't a lot of meat or veggies in the pastas. I would rather not have such a big plate and have a few more ingredients.
For some reason i always find that the food is cold when served.. which also sucked.
I gave this place two tries and the second time didn't impress me much. Maybe i'll give it a try later on..
Cheesecake Etc. is one of my favourite picks for dessert.
Everything about this place is simple. The cheesecakes seem like they're bought from costco or something.. but it works for me. The menu selection is minimal. The strawberry is the one is pretty good. It can be a little too sweet but it goes well with coffee. The setting is very romantic. Dark with lit candles. The service is alright. Nothing special but at the same time nothing bad.
I like this place because they don't use artificial flavouring. They serve food that gives a homemade taste.
The service varies from horrible to just ok. I find that sometimes the servers mix up the orders which can be irritating. I guess it may be because of the language barrier.
Aside from that the ambiance is great. Really festive and decorative.
They have the best "Meatball Rice Wrap". Very Taiwanese.
I love their dessert! The hot grass jelly is really delicious. And their Creme Caramel is really good too.
