I love this place -- coworker and i are frequent visitors to this establishment and this is what i base all other indian food experiences/dishes on.
food is always great, value is great, portions are good and the garlic naan is delicious.
I've brought out of town coworkers and customers here before and ive never had a complaint - even those first time to indian.
Only tricky part is if you catch them at the busy time - LUNCH - you can have a bit of a wait depending how many people hord the place all at once. THis is one of those places that if you dont show up early, you'll end up waiting in line!
while i've never dined in, i typically go for the take out and there are no complaints, other than the price i think is a bit high. consistency is good and the chili chicken is the best dish.
also the chicken tikka masala isn't what i'm used to... no vegi's what so ever and they refused to add any when i asked. instead they recommended some other dish that was horrible and i couldn finish due to the salt content.
given the lack of really good chinese places in north delta, this i have to say is the only place i regularly visit for chinese take out. While it is not the most convenient to the area i live, it is the most consistent. This isn't to say its perfect, since for whatever reason there is a big issue of consistency for chinese takeout in this part of the lower mainland.
ultimately, for good, for the most part non greasy chinese, this is the solid place to go.
usually order: chicken chow mein, sweet&sour pork, beef broccoli
and to comment regarding the chicken chow mein, there is always a fair amount of chicken -- and trust me, ive had it a lot! -- dont go by the other rating stating that its non-existant.
