if you want burgers...this is the best of burnaby. Actually, I usually get the brisket which is tender and smothered in the delicious sauce. Add a couple of sides of baked beans, potato salad or coleslaw and you have the feel of a summertime barbecue! A big screen TV usually has the Canucks or some other sporting event on. Lunch and dinner can be busy, but I would say bring a paper and wait it out....its worth it!

Blueberry Blah Blah

I am a big fan of Pinkberry and Red Mango, and thought this was the Vancouver equivalent. Unfortunately, this wasnt the case!

My experience at BlueBerry was only ok at best. The serving size of yogurt was stingy, as they fill only the perimeter of their dish. As well, the fruit selection looked very picked over, as there were only about 5 raspberries in the case.

If you really are in the mood for Frozen Yogurt, I would suggest heading towards the library and FroyoSwirl. It has a more yogurty taste, the fruit is of better quality, and the staff are much more pleasant!

Thanks anyways, but i won't be back to Blueberry.

Wintertime warmth
Submitted Wednesday, December 10, 2008 - 4:14pm [Dine in]

A very inviting space, with warm wood and a fire to keep away those rainy day blues...there really is nothing like a warm bowl of soup or stew or stick to your ribs type of meal in a nice space to make November a little better. Real food, and a nice selection of wines complete the scene. I have also been to the Main St, and W. Broadway locations and they are equally as nice.

Thanksgiving
Submitted Wednesday, December 10, 2008 - 4:02pm [Dine in]

We were visiting with some relatives over the US Thanksgiving holiday and it was nice to find a place that served real Turkey, and stuffing and cranberry sauce all year round. The food wasnt a terribly high quality, but it wasnt bad and not too expensive. Our guests seemed to enjoy the large portions. We even were offered Pumpkin Pie for dessert. Am I going back? Not tomorrow, but maybe next US Thanksgiving!

So So Burger

Great for kids...so so for adults. If you want a burger before a movie...Red Robin is for you. If you don't have kids, I would choose somewhere else because it is loud, and not exactly a relaxing environment. Both of us had a burger which seems to be the house specialty, and they were fine. Not anything new or original or note worthy, but not terrible. Overall, its ok, I would go back....but it wont be for a while
