After reading the good reviews i thought id try HK BBQ Master in richmond. i walked in and there were 3 people in front of me one who took my order, the guy on the left of her was chopping my meat and a lady who was waiting with her hand out waiting for me to pay her. i ordered the bbq duck and the slow roasted crispy pork for take out.

I really enjoyed the roasted pork, it had a crispy thick outer crust which tasted amazing, it was tender and juicy yet not so oily. it was the best bbq pork I"ve tasted in along time, however, I was not so impressed with the bbq duck. I ordered half a duck, I thought it was very oily even though duck is an oily fatty bird cooked, i thought this was a little excessive. The bbq duck meat was tough and had alot of pieces which were mostly bones. There were only a few pieces that had nice meat on them but it was not as tasty as bbq duck usually is.

Overall i was happy with my HK BBQ experience the roasted pork was amazing the bbq duck could have been better but was not all that bad. if in the mood for chinese bbq meat i would go back again.
