(3) (4) (2.5) (4) (2)Unfortunately, this place has closed and been replaced. Too bad - great little place with huge bento boxes for a great price. The new place is called "Eh", as in "Canadian, Eh" - doesnt look like it will do the trick. Looked liek aburger type place. Kind of understadable though, the location was quite strange - you only come across it if you know about it.
I'd have to disagree with other review. This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but it is the real deal. Authentic Mexican made by a small family.
A few of us from work found this place a year or so ago, and we make a point of going back at least once a month, and we all crave it leading up. The chicken enchiladas with verde sauce are exactly like they are in a local place in small town Mexico. Others have had the burritos and salads and are always happy.
The atmoshpere is good too with the cheesy Meican soaps and gameshows on the TV, and the servive is decent - the woman who runs the place is always smiling and happy, even though her english is limited.
This is the real deal, not some "Vancouverized" fusion mexican place. A hole in the wall thaty serves awsome authentic Mexican. Nothing more, nothing less.
