Went on a Sunday night at 7:30 with the family. Staff was EXCELLENT! The girls came by our table more than once or twice to check up on us but definitely weren't overbearing and the place was probably about 80-90% full. As another poster said, carpets were on the wall which added to that "Eastern" feeling. There was live music being played at the back of the restaurant which was really funky.
Food: ordered the lamb, chicken, beef and salmon "Eastern Plates" and they were all nicely done. I had a kathmandu hash shake (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and cherry with ice cream and 1% organic milk) and it was G-O-O-D. Also had the chicken wrap as well as the spinach/mushroom/green onions wrap and they were good too.
As everyone else mentioned, the free chai was great! Not too spicy but it certainly caught my attention (I'm not a chai drinker)!
I'd go back for the friendly service alone!

PP is good for bringing your out-of-town Caucasian guests but not for the Chinese family that's used to Authentic "home-style" cooking. We went on a Thursday night and used our Entertainment Coupons.
There was no squab available. HUGE disappointment.
The "dow mew" (a type of vegetable) was brutally old and not fresh for a $17 plate. After telling the server this, he just gave us this "oh really??" type of puzzled look as if it was unfathomable that they would serve food that was unfresh. He didn't do anything about and didn't offer any compensation.
The service otherwise was good - they were very friendly and provided many suggestions. Sometimes a little hawkish though.

New York Steak I had was good. A little too fatty for my liking but it was cooked to medium rare perfection. The eggplant that came with it was not cooked well but the greens were.
My mom didn't particularly like her Halibut dish. "Overcooked, which led to a rough texture" is what she said.
We shared a white chocolate, vanilla creme brulee which was pretty good..a little burnt at some spots.
Service was so so. Restaurant was not busy at the time we were there and I had to ask for a water refill. Also, after refilling my water, the waitress simply put the water in front of her (which was at the opposite end of where I was sitting)
Live jazz music on a Sunday night really added to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Not overly loud. Furniture decor is nice and contemporary with a homey feel.
worth it with the entertainment coupon.
