Lots of flash for lots of dollar!?
Submitted Sunday, October 4, 2009 - 11:22pm [Dine in]

Having now been to the Chophouse on two separate occasions I will not be in any hurry to return. The quality of the prime rib is fantastic however it gets shadowed by the fact that the service is OK, the prices are a little higher than expected for the portion size and the desserts are nothing to write home about. Ordered the crab cakes and didn't really find anything standout about them. Like the spice of the calamari. Had prime rib for my main and it was very good. Our party finished with the brownie and the double chocolate terrine and neither of the desserts had that rich chocolate taste to them that we were expecting. There must be other places to get prime rib downtown and all the other parts of service and menu that one would expect to find at a restaurant like this.

2 for 1 take out pretty good
Submitted Sunday, October 4, 2009 - 10:53pm [Dine in]

My husband, 4 year old and myself ordered pizza tonight from Camy's for the first time. The pizza here is of good quality for the dollar spent. Lots of fresh toppings and the sauce tasted of fresh tomatoes. I'm sure it's canned but it was good sauce. We ordered the Ultimate and the Mediterranean and both were good. Even our child ate 2 pieces with no complaints and she can be picky about pizza. It's one of the better 2 for 1 pizzas we've had in Surrey. We'd order again.

What a find!
Submitted Monday, August 6, 2007 - 7:47pm [Dine in]

My husband and I have now been 3 times and all 3 of those times were just fantastic. The food is very fresh and the service is very friendly and accommodating. I always have the crispy roll and my husband has as much tuna as he can! It's wonderful to find such a great place and not have to travel downtown. Highly recommended.

Good take out, Poor Dim sum
Submitted Sunday, April 1, 2007 - 12:16pm [Dine in]

Tried the dim sum on the weekend and it was not like having the take out we usually get. Chewy and rubbery. Sticky rice was nothing more than cooked white rice with one piece of chicken. Drive the extra 20 minutes and go to Richmond.

Great service with Cold Beer
Submitted Sunday, April 1, 2007 - 12:13pm [Dine in]

After reading the previous review I was a little wary to try this location but it was fantastic. The beer comes out in frosty chilled glass and the pizza was loaded with toppings. The service was pretty good too. No wait at all when we went in at 9pm. Will totally go back.

Nice neighbourhood pub, but poor service
Submitted Saturday, March 17, 2007 - 1:33am [Dine in]

After reading some of the good reviews previously written, my husband and I decide to try it out. The service was very disappointing being that the server took the initial drink order and then never came back. We finally got the server's attention after 15 minutes by walking right up to the server and informing the server that we were ready to order. Unfortunately when the food did arrive it wasn't even the food described in the menu. The lamb burger was small and dry with no chutney and the beef dip sandwich had no horseradish or garlic. It had spinach instead which the menu did not mention. The ambience of the pub was very nice but the food and service left a lot to be desired. Go for a beer and get out.
