They serve the usual dishes you would find in a Cantonese style restaurant such as wonton soup, dumplings, hot & sour soup, fried rice, beef and Chinese broccoli, etc. The real treat, however, is their live crab with special house sauce. It is savory with just the right kick of chili peppers. Another favourite is their spicy green beans with prawns.
But don't take my word for it, try it for yourself. Those of you who knew this restaurant when it was located in a strip mall on North Rd. in Burnaby will know what I'm talking about.
If you are looking for hearty, no-frills Greek food, Yianni's is the place to go. They serve some of the best calamari and roast lamb I've tried. Their skordalia (garlic pate) is great and they have an excellent ekmek (custard dessert). Service is excellent and the staff is friendly and down to earth. Prices are reasonable for what you get and they usually have specials. Give yourself a treat and try them out for dinner.
